The labor and employment practice at Baute Crochetiere & Gilford LLP includes the full spectrum of wrongful termination and employment discrimination cases, including discrimination on the basis of race, age, sex, national origin, religion and disability, among others, as well as defending against claims for breach of contract, wrongful termination in violation of public policy, and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. The firm also handles traditional NLRB proceedings and collective bargaining, including recent successful negotiations against the Teamsters and the United Farm Workers. Our labor practice also includes the handling of routine grievances and formal arbitration hearings, as well as wage and hour advice and class action defense.
The firm’s labor work is almost exclusively on behalf of management, and only in rare instances does the firm handle a plaintiff’s case in the area of labor and employment.
