Sean Andrade graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, and received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Irvine with honors. While at the University of Pennsylvania, he received a Certificate of Study in Business and Public Policy from The Wharton School. During law school, he served as Senior Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Labor & Employment Law and he externed for General Motors Corporation in Detroit, Michigan and California Supreme Court Justice Carlos Moreno when Justice Moreno was in the United States District Court for the Central District of California.

Mr. Andrade is a litigator who has taken cases from complaint through trial. He has also handled appeals and writs to the California Court of Appeal and the Ninth Circuit and has filed amicus briefs in both the California and the United States Supreme Court. He has litigated a wide array of commercial litigation cases, involving breach of contract, fraud, piercing the corporate veil, products liability, employment discrimination, wage and hour claims, franchise law, insurance bad faith, real estate disputes, and entertainment litigation.

Mr. Andrade began his legal career at Baker & Hostetler LLP in Los Angeles, where he successfully represented Fortune 100 clients in all types of commercial litigation matters pending in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. At Baker Hostetler, he represented one of the largest finance companies in the world in numerous commercial breach of contract matters throughout California, resulting in numerous favorable judgments and settlements for the client.

He joined Baute, Crochetiere & Maloney in August 2008. Since then, he has lead numerous clients to successful results in commercial breach of contract, employment discrimination, wage and hour, and entertainment litigation cases.

Currently, Mr. Andrade serves as the National Vice President of Programs for the Hispanic National Bar Association. In that capacity, he is a member of the HNBA’s Executive Committee, and its National Board of Governors. He also serves as a Trustee on the Board of the Mexican American Bar Association of Los Angeles County.

In 2009, 2010 and 2011, Mr. Andrade was recognized as one of the top young lawyers for business litigation by Los Angeles Magazine’s Rising Stars Edition of Southern California Super Lawyers. In January 2011, Mr. Andrade was appointed by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors to its Redistricting Commission, which is charged with holding County wide public hearings and recommending a plan for redistricting Los Angeles County based on the 2010 Census. Prior to law school, he worked on policy and litigation for the legal department of the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
