Mr. Wang is a seasoned attorney whose practice spans across a wide array of industries that include insurance companies, retailers, emerging and foreign companies, public entities, and publishers. These matters involve intellectual property disputes, real estate, employment law, First Amendment rights, product liability, unfair competition, defamation, and first party “bad faith” insurance disputes. In addition to representing his clients in the courtroom, Mr. Wang also advises his clients on general legal issues in their day-to-day business operations.

Mr. Wang does not believe in a one-size fits all approach to legal services. He firmly believes that understanding and appreciation of the client's business operation and goals are critical to effective legal representation and counseling. Client resources should not be expended simply for the sake of “building the case." Litigation and, if necessary, trials are only necessary when extenuating business circumstances demand them or when business diplomacy fails.

In addition to his practice, Mr. Wang serves on the boards of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association and the Asian Pacific Community Fund. Mr. Wang has been a guest speaker for the National Pacific American Bar Association, the International Claims Association, and the Eastern Claims Conference.

Mr. Wang was a partner with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips and Reed Smith before moving his practice to Baute, Crochetiere & Maloney in May of 2011.
